Tabitha's background is in legal advice, including disability advice in the DIAL
network run by disabled people in the UK. She is currently an associate
trainer for the British Institute of Human Rights, and a part-time law
lecturer. Her interest in the realisation of disabled people's economic and
social rights is being pursued through postgraduate work on implementation in
the UK of Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities.
