The ENIL Youth Network shares with you the report from the third ENIL study session, jointly organised with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe. It took place in the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg between 17th and 24th April 2016. The study session was entitled “Supporting young disabled people to explore sexuality and relationships as integral to their social inclusion and independent living” and brought together 22 young disabled people from 13 European countries.
In the report you can find interesting information about the aims, objectives of the study session, about the participants, the preparatory team and the programme! Each section is accompanied by photos, revealing the atmosphere of this fascinating youth event, quotes from participants and speakers and more. Hopefully, the publication could help other organisations which are about to hold a similar event or for inspiration of every individual who is open-minded and willing to break barriers!
Find the report here.
We also remind you that a 30min video was created by the Council of Europe, showing participants and organizer of the study session speaking about the event and revealing interesting viewpoints on a taboo topic. You can watch it here.
