The Advisory Council on Youth is the non-governmental partner in the co-
management structure which establishes the standards and work priorities of the
Council of Europe’s youth sector and makes recommendations for future priorities,
programmes and budgets. It is made up of 30 representatives from youth NGOs and
networks in Europe and its main task is to advise the Committee of Ministers on all
questions relating to youth.
Since 2016 – 2017, the ENIL Youth Network has been represented in the Advisory
Council on Youth, beginning with Agnes Sarolta Fazekas, from Hungary. Agnes was
a youth board member at the time, who helped establish a relationship between
ENIL Youth Network and CoE. She was succeeded by Rebecca Farren, from the
United Kingdom (2018 – 2019) and then by Marijeta Mojasevic, from Montenegro
(2019 – ). Marijeta is still a member of the Council and acts as the Rapporteur on
Mainstreaming Disability Issues.
