The workshop is organised by the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL), in cooperation with the European Disability Forum (EDF) and the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), with the financial support of the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust.
The aim of the workshop is to look at the impact Brexit is likely to have on the rights of disabled people and the work of DPOs, and to discuss how disabled people and their organisations can have a stronger voice in the ongoing Brexit negotiations. The findings of a new study by the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), entitled ‘5 Takeaways on Brexit: Outlining Possible Scenarios for a new UK-EU Relationship and the Impact on Citizens’ will be presented.
The workshop is taking place on 20 March, from 1:30 – 5:30 pm at Resource for London, in London. For more details, please see the draft agenda below.
To register, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10 March, indicating any access needs you may have. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
