Lancaster University’s Centre for Disability Research announces its 8th Disability Studies conference. It will take place between 6th and 8th September 2016.
The conference has a rich history of bringing together international researchers, practitioners, policy makers and activists from around the world, to share and debate research, ideas and developments in disability studies.
The keynote speakers this year will be Susie Balderstone, Lucy Costa, Don Kulick, Sara Ryan and Jijian Voronka. In addition to the main conference, there will be a second Mad Studies stream convened by Peter Beresford and Brigit McWade, as well as an inaugural Sexuality stream convened by Tom Shakespeare and Kirsty Liddiard.
