ENIL’s Position on the European Accessibility Act

ENIL’s Position on the European Accessibility Act

On 26th January 2016, ENIL submitted a position paper to the European Commission with the aim to outline the strengths of the proposed European Accessibility Act (EAA) and to propose changes that will ensure EAA is suited to the needs of all disabled EU citizens. The EAA proposal demonstrates the commitment of the European Commission to improve the accessibility of services for disabled people across the EU and is an important step towards the fulfillment of several recommendations made by the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to the EU last year.

You can read the ENIL submission here.

You can read more information about the EEA, published on the ENIL website on 2nd December 2015, at this link.
