ENIL brings the latest news from the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe with great pleasure. On 17 October, during their 1297th meeting, the Committee adopted the nomination of 30 new members of the Advisory Council on Youth (CCJ) for the period 2018-2019. The ENIL Youth Network Board member and previous EVS volunteer at ENIL Rebecca Farren is one of the appointed members. She is among the 10 representatives proposed by the Secretary General. ENIL thanks Agnes Sarolta Fazekas, member of the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe 2016-2017. Through Agnes’ commitment the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe has strengthened the diversity and access agenda for all young people including young disabled people with diverse identities and backgrounds. Agnes has fostered the cooperation between the Youth Department and the Secretariat – Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the Council of Europe among other various stakeholders and contributed to different high-level conferences and meetings regarding access and inclusion of young disabled people in various spheres of their life.
