Together with our Swedish member the Independent Living Institute (ILI), ENIL is co-organising a conference on ‘Using the Law as a Tool for Social Change’. The conference will take place on 30th May (9:00 – 17:00) in Stockholm, Sweden and will also mark 25 years of ILI’s work.
The conference is aimed at disability activists, legal professionals, law students and instructors, and others working against discrimination on the grounds of disability. Participants are invited to share and discuss experiences using legal casework and strategic litigation to implementation of the rights of persons with disabilities. Participation is free of charge, but organisers are unable to cover travel or accommodation costs.
