Antonella is a gender equality and disability rights advocate. She works as a Policy Officer at the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL), where she focuses on a range of policy areas, including the rights of women with disabilities and other marginalised groups.


She has completed two internships at the European Parliament — first as a Schuman Trainee, and subsequently as a Policy Trainee in the S&D Group Secretariat — both within the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality (FEMM).


In addition to her professional experience, she has a strong background in volunteering, including as a United Nations Volunteer. She previously worked at Inclusion Europe, where she promoted the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities and conducted research on the political participation of women with disabilities.


Her academic background includes an LL.M. in Transnational Crime and Justice (UPEACE & UNICRI) and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Trento. She is currently expanding her expertise by studying sexual justice and sex education, with a focus on disability justice.
