I am a social worker, disability rights advocate, and communications professional with a strong focus on independent living, accessibility, and public awareness.
I am currently in charge of communications at the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL), where I coordinate and create content for the organisation’s website, newsletter, and social media channels. My work includes developing communication strategies, promoting advocacy campaigns and events, writing articles and social media copy, creating accessible visuals, producing captions and alt text, managing online engagement, and supporting ENIL’s wider awareness-raising work across Europe.
Beyond organisational work, I lead one of Greece’s most recognised disability advocacy platforms, captain.ameArica, with a community of over 30,000 followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Through creative digital storytelling, public seminars, and media presence, I promote disability awareness and challenge stereotypes, especially around accessibility, independent living, and the everyday realities of disabled people.
My background in social work, combined with hands-on experience in UEFA accessibility evaluations, disability awareness training, communications, and national-level athletics, gives me a unique perspective: I connect policy, lived experience, and public engagement.
