In less than 3 months, there will be elections for new Members of the European Parliament (2019 – 2024) in all EU Member States. In preparation for the elections, ENIL has prepared an Elections Toolkit. The Toolkit is aimed at disabled people, disabled people’s organisations and our allies.
In the Toolkit, you will find:
✓ More information about the European Elections and the elections process;
✓ A presentation of the ENIL Elections Campaign, which will culminate on the European Independent Living Day – the 5th May;
✓ Suggestions for activities you can organise to make your voice heard in the run up to the elections;
✓ The text of the ENIL Manifesto, which you can translate into your language and/or adapt;
✓ A questionnaire which you can send to candidate MEPs in your country, with questions based on the ENIL Manifesto.
