Ableism, or disability bias, is the root of much of the social exclusion disabled people face in today’s society. At the same time, it is incredibly persistent, and its eradication has been a challenge that disability advocates have struggled with for decades. But what if, in order to combat ableism, we first need to understand how the human brain works through the lens of evolution?
In the webinar Disability and Bias: Uncovering the Hidden Barriers, you will learn how disability bias emerges in the human brain, how it affects disabled people, how to recognize it, and strategies to combat it.
