Regional consultations on the 9,11,12 and 13 December 2024, from 15:00 to 17:00 CET

At ENIL, we are working on our new Strategic Plan 2026 – 2029. The new plan will outline our goals and objectives for this period and how we are going to achieve them. This means defining what types of activities we are going to implement, who we are going to target and who we are going to work with.

To come up with a draft Strategic Plan 2026 – 2029 that has the support of our members, we need your input!

We will have 4 regional strategic consultations (online), on the 9th, 11th, 12th and 13th December, with interpretation into French and Spanish. For those who cannot join these consultations, we have a survey you can complete.

The draft Strategic Plan 2026 – 2029 will be shared will all members before the General Assembly in the Spring of 2025. Based on the input received, the Strategic Plan will be voted on during the General Assembly.

Why do we need a new Strategic Plan?

We currently have a Strategic Plan covering the years 2022 – 2025. This plan was first published in September 2021 and approved by the General Assembly in October 2022. To be able to plan our future activities and apply for funding, we need a new Plan. The new Plan should take into consideration the context that we live in and the challenges disabled people face in different countries across Europe. It should also take into consideration the opportunities – in terms of legislation, policies, funding and partnerships, for example. Internally, the new Plan should be informed by the External evaluation of ENIL’s work, which was carried out at the end of 2023. You can find both documents below.

We will have 4 online consultations, covering different regions in Europe – the South, the East, the North and the West. These consultations are aimed at all organisational and individual members (full and associated), including members of the ENIL Youth Network. We have split them into regional groups in order to have a more focused discussion on the challenges in the regions and the expectations from ENIL. The consultations will be moderated by members of the Board and the Youth Board, and supported by members of the ENIL Secretariat.

We encourage you to join one of the online consultations – you can register using these links:

If you are not sure which consultation to join, you may use this link of regions as a guide. However, feel free to join the consultation that suits you best. (For non-Europeans, please choose one of the regions, based on your preference.)
