9th of April 2024 in the European Parliament, in Brussels Room A5E1, 14:00-16:00 CET
Hosted by MEP Katrin Langensiepen
In 2024, the European Commission will publish a Framework for Social Services of Excellence for persons with disabilities, which will build on the existing European Quality Framework for Social Services.
The European Network on Independent Living has consulted its members and academic experts from its Independent Living Research Network to draft a detailed proposal. For ENIL, it is paramount for the Framework incorporate peer support, co-production, intersectionality and access to services, in compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
