Join us for the launch of the Independent Living (IL) Survey 2024, a powerful tool to assess and compare how European countries are supporting the right to independent living.
Building on the 2020 research, the second edition of the Independent Living Survey uses new data collected in 2024 to take a broader look at independent living across Europe. It gathers input from disabled individuals and Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) on key pillars of independent living — such as accessible information, adequate income, health and social care, and transport — to show how different countries uphold these principles.
The findings highlight good practices and identify areas for improvement, offering clear recommendations for removing barriers and promoting equality and inclusion.
This webinar will present the survey results, exploring personal assistance, housing, education, employment, and healthcare, and will give participants the opportunity to engage with experts and advocates working to advance disability rights in Europe.
