An information session on new policy developments in Brussels

Welcome to our brand-new format: The EU Policy Briefing. To keep you up to date on what is happening in EU disability policy and how this might affect you, our experts from the ENIL secretariat will give you presentations on the latest developments. What is new? Which positions had ENIL adopted and which actions have we undertaken? What are the outcomes? Following the presentations, you will be able to ask any question you have or comment on what you have heard. To keep you up to speed, we will bring the briefing to you three times a year.

In our first session of 2025, we will discuss three topics:

  1. The Review of the European Union by the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its outcomes
  2. How ENIL is fighting against segregation by reforming the EU Budget as laid down in the Multiannual financial framework
  3. How ENIL is fighting against segregation by changing the way national authorities are allowed to use their resources and how we are defending the right to legal capacity.

Date: 20th of May
