Voices of Women with Disabilities on Online Safety and Inclusion

As part of the 2025 UNiTE Campaign and the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, this session will explore how digital violence impacts women and girls with disabilities and what inclusive strategies are needed to ensure safe, accessible, and equitable online spaces. The webinar will bring together experts, activists, and women with disabilities to discuss key challenges such as online harassment, stalking, doxxing, image-based abuse, and deepfake pornography.
Participants will learn about the intersection of disability justice and digital justice, gain technical insights on online safety, and hear first-hand experiences from women navigating digital spaces. The session will also outline approaches for stronger protection mechanisms, inclusive policymaking, and global cooperation in ending digital gender-based violence.
