The European Network on Independent Living (ENIL) is pleased to invite you to a hearing in the European Parliament on ‘EU Funds and Independent Living’. We will present a briefing with our most recent concerns about the use of ESI Funds in the Member States, in relation to transition from institutional care to community living. The briefing is based on the information we collected during the first year of the EU Funds for Our Rights Campaign, which involved exchange with civil society organisations from 18 Member States.
The hearing will be hosted by MEP Ms Miriam Dalli, Ms Jana Žitňanská and M Pascal Durand and we are pleased to confirm the participation of the UN Special Envoy on Disability and Accessibility Ms María Soledad Cisternas Reyes.
The hearing will take place on 8th March from 11h to 13h at the European Parliament (Altiero Spinelli, A5G305) in Brussels.
Please, find the Draft Agenda in the attachment.
