ENIL is consulting with the University of Leeds and the Centre for Disability Studies on the development of an innovative new suite of Postgraduate programmes in Disability Rights and Inclusion. These ground-breaking new programmes blend academic and vocational learning to meet the needs of the current, and future, generation of ‘change-makers’ in the field of disability activism and social justice.
Along with a full Master’s degree, there will be specialist pathways at the Diploma and Certificate level in Human Rights, Education and Professional Practice suitable for working professionals in these respective areas. These innovative, inclusive and accessible programmes will be taught completely online and can be studied from anywhere in the world.
Students will be supported in recognising, understanding and meeting many of the challenges facing disabled people, equipping them with knowledge and skills to help build a more enabling society and empower disabled people.
ENIL’s consultation will help to ensure these programmes further build on the global leadership in critical disability studies for which the University of Leeds is known.
