On 23rd of May the 5th European Parliament of Persons with Disabilities will meet in Brussels. In view of the European elections in 2024, the participants will adopt a manifesto with policy demands on disability rights. The European Disability Forum (EDF) is gathering input from members to prepare the manifesto.
For example, EDF is proposing to demand measures to maximise the accessibility of the electoral process, a prohibition of disability-based discrimination in the EU and the establishment of a disability employment and skills guarantee.
