The preparations for the Freedom Drive continue. At the moment, we are hammering out the final details of the venues. We already know that the Freedom Drive conference will take place at the Charlemagne building of the European Commission in Rue de la Loi and we will have our 30th Anniversary party at the Microsoft Office building in Rue Montoyer.
On 2 October, the march will start at Park Cinquantenaire, where we will hear from our leaders, get the banners ready and practice chants. From the park, we will make our way to the Schuman roundabout, where we will walk by the European Council and the European Commission buildings. We will continue on Rue Joseph II, passing by DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, and will end in front of the European Parliament (see picture below). We are also planning an art installation along the route. By the end of June, we will confirm the final march route with the Brussels Police.
We would like to remind you to register as soon as possible, if you are planning to attend. Knowing numbers in advance helps us plan better, so we would like to encourage everyone not to wait until the deadline in September. You will find the registration form HERE.
We have a number of informative workshops planned for you on the 1 October. Find out more HERE.
