Freedom Drive preparations are ongoing and we are currently making arrangements for the accessible venues and other logistical details. As you are aware, Freedom Drive relies on Fundraising. The event has developed and grown so has the need for funding to support it.

We are very pleased to announce our first sponsor for the Freedom Drive 2026 – Freedom One Life (freedomonelife.com) who will sponsor this Freedom Drive’s t-shirts. Freedom One Life is a company born from the same frustrations many of you participating in the Freedom Drive know firsthand. The company is founded by a powerchair user, Alex, who was frustrated by being limited by his powerchair.

After years of using powerchairs which broke down frequently, were unreliable, difficult to get around with, and ultimately, restricted his independent living – he decided to do something about it.

Alex and the Freedom One Life team created the Series 5 powered wheelchair by working closely with powerchair users and their lived experience, developing a deep understanding of what is takes to make a powerchair centred around its users and for the real world.

Alex wanted to prove what freedom and independence with the right powerchair can look like, so last year, he sent four Series 5 users racing through 10 countries from the UK to Italy for the chance to win a 1000€ prize! Each person had a unique experience and proved that with the right equipment, planning and support – travelling with a powered wheelchair can be incredibly rewarding.

We continue seeking support from parties that take an interest in inclusion, accessibility, and diversity.

Here are some examples of what we need for this year’s event.

– Sponsorship for T-shirts and other merchandise

– Sponsorship for lunches/dinners

– Sponsorship for coffee/tea breaks

– Sponsorship for young disabled people to attend.

– Donations to cover the costs of speakers, accessibility, materials.

– Volunteers to help during the 3 days.

In return, what we can offer:

– Logos on posters, T-shirts, and other materials

– Logos on website and social media (during promotion of the event)

– Space to introduce/present a product.

These are examples and we are happy to meet to discuss what is possible. Information about the Freedom Drive can be found at ENIL’s Freedom Drive website. For questions, please contact freedom.drive@enil.eu
