ENIL Youth Board member Fatma Yazıcı took part in the training course “Youth Exchanges for ALL” in Fez, coordinated by SALTO Inclusion & Diversity and SALTO EuroMed, and co-funded by the German, Polish, and Portuguese Erasmus+ agencies.

Held between 18–22 May 2026, the training brought together youth workers and practitioners, newcomers to the Erasmus+ Youth field, with a focus on working with young people with fewer opportunities. Beyond learning, the course created a meaningful space for participants and organizations to connect, exchange real experiences from the field, and start building new partnerships for future cooperation.

Throughout the programme, participants explored how youth exchanges within Erasmus+ are designed and implemented, from recognizing young people needs, identifying priorities and shaping project ideas to understanding budgeting and the application process, through non-formal education methods, combining input sessions with hands-on activities.

One of the most engaging parts of the training was the opportunity to develop and simulate their own youth exchange projects in international groups, supported by ongoing mentoring and feedback from facilitators.

Alongside the training sessions, participants also had the chance to discover Fez, including its historic old medina, gaining a deeper appreciation of the city’s cultural richness and atmosphere.

This experience is expected to further strengthen collaboration within the ENIL Youth Network, and we are excited to see what will emerge next.
